Today... the 21st century, how did we get here. The American Dream, what is it? It USE TO be having the house, the job, the car, the family, education. What is it today? nothing!! Just a few years ago this wasn't the issue. Now that the recession is "over" then everything should just go back to what it use to be. NOT!! nothing is the same, there is no security. Sure education is to be the thing that gives you the competitive edge, but for those who graduated in 2009, there is no benefit. You still have to pay those loans off regardless if you have a job or not. There are efforts to lower the payments, but that means you just have to pay for them even longer. What the heck, so with out a job and forever to pay these off still not fair. A little over 4 years ago, I didn't see myself in this spot. People can not live the American Dream. Is living in America the real dream, is there a better place to live? What are we to do? Yes, the banks are bailed out taking my tax dollars, but they are also charging fees taking more of my money, just to keep my money at their bank. Does this make any sense????? umm NO. Mr President, what are you going to do. ohh that right we don't even listen to our president. We can't even give our children the ability to listen to one of the most powerful men in the WORLD because he is a dream crusher.... Well people he is right.... there is so many people out there in the world who are going to crush your dreams, stand in the way of your dreams, trick you into something you can't get out of. But our youth today believes if they are slutty then they can be on TV and become famous, no brains necessary! What has this country come to? We are the HuH generation and we are our own worst enemy!
